Despite the short absence of football due to the coronavirus, most football leagues have finally closed the curtain for the season.
With the league done and dusted, teams who do not have continental competitions (UEFA Champions League & Europa League) to play have begun giving their players some time off before the beginning of the pre-season.
The Super Eagles youngster took to his Facebook page to share beautiful pictures of him "flexing" with the caption "free day".
The 2019/20 season was a good one for not just the 21-year-old, but also his club.
Villareal finished 5th on the La Liga standings with ease and will be featuring in next seasons Europa League.
For a team which finished the 2018/19 season in 14th position and were in the relegation water at some point, qualifying for an European competition is the height of it all.
In 37 appearances across all competitions, Chukwueze was able to give 5 assists and score 3 goals plus a few man of the match performances.
He has also been linked with a move out of the club, with some top clubs in Europe wanting to get his services.
If he doesn't get a transfer by the end of the summer, playing in the Europa League will be a very good opportunity for the young lad to showcase himself at a much bigger platform.
