Manchester United and Manchester City are looking to make reinforcements in their respective squad in 2022. Both clubs are in need of a striker and are set to do battle to sign Napoli's striker Victor Osimhen who is in high demand across Europe.
Victor Osimhen could leave Italy for any of the Manchester clubs in the English Premier League. The 22 year old Nigerian International has put in beautiful performances consistently for Napoli and this performances have attracted the big clubs in Europe. Osimhen joined Napoli from French side Lille for 80 Million Euros which is a record fee for an African footballer.
Manchester United signed Cristiano Ronaldo in the summer but they still need another forward in their squad. They have Marcus Rashford and Edinson Cavani in their squad although the latter may leave the club soon. Manchester City on the other hand do not have a real striker in their squad. The Sky Blue club missed out on signing Tottenham's Harry Kane in the summer and could now go for Victor Osimhen.
Report say that Napoli are going to listen to offers in the region of 110 Million Euros for Victor Osimhen who is contracted with the Italian club until 2025. It remains to be seen if any of the Manchester clubs will be able to meet Napoli's demand.
Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid are also credited with interest in Victor Osimhen and could make a move in 2022.
It remains to be seen if Victor Osimhen will leave Napoli in 2022.
