Real Madrid star shines in his team FIFA WCQ 2-0 win

Spanish La Liga Santander giant, Real Madrid midfield maestro Casemiro was in action in the early hours of today for Brazil in their 8th game of the CONMEBOL FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Peru at the Arena Pernambuco.

The midfield enigma was handed a role in his team's starting XI following his outstanding performance for the team in their previous game and he was able to shine before been substituted in the 78th minutes for Bruno Guimaraes.

Casemiro was at the heart of the centre-field as he started the game alongside Gerson, Lucas Paqueta and Everton Ribeiro and they were all able to impress with the latter netting a goal in the game.

Neymar Da Silva Jr. set up an assist for Everton Ribeiro in the 15th minutes to make it one nil before the assist provider doubled the lead for the host in the 40th minutes to make it two goals to nil going into the half time break.

In the second half of the game, the tempo got more intensed as they both displayed some more dazzling skills but none was able to found the back of the net as it ended two goals to nil at full time.

The win for Brazil in the game has now taken them to the top of the table with 24 points in 8 games played and as such be hoping to keep the winning streaks going in their next fixture.
