As it stands currently, Napoli is the only club in the top 5 (five) leagues with a 100% record in their domestic league. The Gli Azzurri have played 7 games in the Serie A this season, and collected 21 points from those matches.
Napoli are the current league leaders in the Serie A table, and are 4 points clear from last season's Serie A champions, Inter Milan. Though their domestic record is impressive, they are yet to win a game in the Europa League competition.
Napoli are behind in the Europa League Group C table, and would need to do something about their position if they are to make it into the next round. Napoli's first match was against Leicester City, which ended in a 2-2 draw after a surprising comeback.
In the match against Leicester City, Napoli were down 2 goals but Victor Osimhen came to their rescue to balance the score. The Nigerian striker has been involved heavily in Napoli's success this season, especially in the Serie A.
Victor Osimhen has scored four (4) goals in 6 matches for Napoli in Serie A, and has scored three (3) goals in two matches in the Europa League.
The Nigerian has made a terrific start to the season with his performances. There are even rumours which suggest he could move to another club, perhaps in the Premier League, to further his professional career.
The 22-year-old's recent form has made him a target for big clubs like Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City. If he maintains this form and continues to score goals, then there is a big chance he could play for a bigger club.
Victor Osimhen is not only a goal scorer, but also a team player. Luciano Spalletti (Napoli's manager) has done a great job in moulding him into a top-class striker. His speed, strength and skill troubles most defenders in the league.
Napoli would be looking to Victor Osimhen in their next Europa League match to help them get a win, which would be their first for this season. Napoli are going to face Legia Warszawa, the current leaders of the Group C table of the Europa League.
Most fans are expecting a total of 20 or more goals from the Nigerian striker this season, and with the incredible start he has had this season, there is no doubt he can pull it off.
Victor Osimhen is still young and has a lot of room for development. One thing his recent performances show is potential. He still has a lot of work to do, but with the right guidance and proper mindset, he could be an elite striker.
