Nigerian duo Paul Onuachu and Cyriel Dessers were inspirational for KRC Genk on Thursday night.

The forwards as the Smurfs reigned supreme over Royal Antwerp at the Luminus Arena.

The Belgian First Division A Playoff Championship Group game ended 4-0 in favour of KRC Genk.

Onuachu started ahead of Dessers in a 4-5-1 formation.
The ex Midtjylland and Vejle striker was impressive with two assists while Dessers countributed one goal.

Kristian Thorstvedt edged Genk ahead in the 43rd minute.
Four minutes after the break, Thorstvedt benefitted from Onuachu's assist to register a brace.

It was Onuachu who assisted Thorstvedt again in the 69th minute.
Paul Onuachu was replaced by Dessers in the 74th minute.

One minute after coming on for his Nigerian compatriot, Dessers popped up with a goal as Genk ran out 4-0.

It will be recalled that Onuachu has scored 35 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions this term.

As for Dessers, he has seven goals and three assists.
