Meet The Academy Player Tuchel Might Introduce Against Brentford, If Lukaku & Rudiger Doesn't Recover

The international break is almost over and players who were called up by their different national teams will now be expected to return to their respective clubs. One thing about the international break is that some players often come back injured and this might put the tactical game plan of their coaches. Chelsea will be facing Brentford in their next premier league game and Thomas Tuchel will be hoping to have his squad fully fit in order to help him get the result he wants.

Brentford have proven themselves to be very solid amongst all the teams that got promoted. As almost all the big teams that have played against them have failed to secure maximum points. Tuchel will like be an exception.

According to recent reports, Lukaku and Antonio Rudiger have been injured and both players left their camps in order to begin their recovery. The truth of the matter is that this will alter Tuchel's tactical plans against Brentford. Meanwhile, during the international break some players that were not called up continued to keep fit in the club's training ground.

Romelu Lukaku's Injury will see Kai Havertz return to his former position as a central farward. While Timo Werner and Mason Mount will be starting in that attacking midfield position to support Havertz. N'golo Kante is not fully fit and will continue to maintain fitness and this will allow the likes Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Saul and Matteo Kovacic to pair with Jorginho in that midfield.

The truth of the matter is that one academy player have continued to impress for the blues in training and Tuchel might be obliged to introduce Xavier Mbuyamba to his starting lineup against Brentford. The Dutchman have been likened to Van Dijk in his pattern of play. Thomas Tuchel already has options like Trevoh Chalobah and Andreas Christensen.
