Lets take a look at how some of the matches over the weekend could pan out.
English premier league
Aston Villa vs Arsenal
Ninth placed Aston Villa face a tough test when they face tenth placed Arsenal in the first game of week 22 of the 2020/2021 English Premier league season.
The away side would be eyeing up a win which will surely propel them above the Villans although they would be wary of an Aston Villa side that had defeated them earlier this season.
My predictions: Aston Villa 2 vs 1 Arsenal
Manchester united vs Everton
Manchester united also host Everton in a high profile clash at Old trafford on Saturday evening. The home team need a win to keep their title hopes alive while Everton on the other hand would be looking to boost their league top 4 hosts.
United should be able win this one.
My predictions: Manchester united 2 vs 1 Everton
Tottenham vs West bromwich Albion
Tottenham welcome West bromwich albion on Sunday in what is an important clash for both sides who are looking to climb up the ladder at both ends of the table.
Tottenham are currently on a three match losing streak while West bromwich albion on the other hand aren't having the best of times themselves. The home side are still favorites though and would be largely expected to win this one.
My predictions: Tottenham 3 vs 0 West bromwich
Wolves vs Leicester city
Another entertaining match up that would be coming up this weekend in the premier league sees Wolverhampton wanderers play host to Leicester city at the Molineux staduim.
With both sides picking up wins in their last games, this match might prove to be very crucial for their respective hopes this season.
My predictions: Wolves 2 vs 2 Leicester city
Liverpool vs Manchester city
Out of form Liverpool play in a win or bust game against current table toppers Manchester city who are in scintillating run of form at the moment.
Pep Guardiola's side has won their last nine games in the league and a win over Liverpool on Sunday would all but end the reds of retaining their league title for a second consecutive season.
Liverpool 0 vs 1 Manchester city
Sheffield united vs Chelsea
Thomas Tuchel take his team to the Bramall lane in search of a second consecutive away win in the short space of four days.
The blues will be looking to win this one which would undoubtedly boost their hopes of re-igniting a title challenge which seemed like a realistic dream at the beginning of the season.
My predictions: Sheffield united 0 vs 2 Chelsea
Spanish La liga
Huesca vs Real Madrid
La liga strugglers Huesca host Real Madrid on Saturday afternoon in what promises to be an entertaining game.
The defending champions cannot afford to drop points from this game as it would ultimately see Barcelona extend their lead over them, while they could also drop to 4th place.
My predictions: Huesca 1 vs 3 Real Madrid
Real Betis vs Barcelona
Fresh from their comeback victory in the midweek, Barcelona resume La liga action against Real Betis this weekend.
The Catalan club would be looking to close the gap between them and first place Atletico Madrid while they would also be looking to maintain their position above Real Madrid on the log.
My predictions: Real Betis 1 vs 1 Barcelona
Italian Serie A
AC Milan vs Crotone
AC Milan would be consolidate their spot at the top of Serie A table when they play Crotone at the San Siro staduim on Sunday afternoon.
A win for the home team would see them move a step closer to a first league title in more than ten years.
My predictions: AC Milan 3 vs 0 Crotone
Juventus vs AS Roma
Juventus would be playing AS Roma in what is the biggest Serie A game of the weekend.
The home side would be hoping to surge above their opponents on the table as they also look to close the gap between them and both Milan clubs. AS Roma has been in superb form this season, however Juventus cannot be completely written off despite a relative inconsistent season so far.
My predictions: Juventus 2 vs 1 AS Roma
