After the Chelsea and Nigeria football team legend, John Obi Mikel celebrated his 34th birthday yesterday, one of the photos shared by Chelsea has wowed Nigerians.
The photo in the mix of this is the one that was taken during the Chelsea UEFA Champions League triumph over Bayern Munich in 2012.
Nigerian fans are stunned that John Obi Mikel paid tribute to the all-time top goalscorer of Nigeria, the late Rashidi Yekini, during Chelsea’s celebrations that historical night in Munich.
In the photo, the words on the cloth Mikel worn reads;
“Dedicated to Rashidi Yekini.”

This came as a surprise to Nigerian football lovers as they stated this was the first time them seeing it.
They claim they never knew he did this.
