The Nigeria's basketball team, D'Tigers, will face the Italian basketball team on Saturday in the last group B game in Olympics. The D'Tigers lost their first two games against Australia and Germany respectively. The game between D'Tigers and the Italian basketball team will take place at Santana Super Arena on Saturday.
Italian basketball team had won Germany by 10 points in their opener. Unfortunately, Italy also lost a hard-fought game against Australia. As such, the Italian side is in a good position to advance to the knockout stage. Nigeria's D'Tigers will be dumped out of the Olympic games in Tokyo if Italy wins the game.
Basketball analysts have encouraged the D'Tigers to pull out all the stops on Saturday as their stay in the Olympics is already on the line. The D'Tigers are encouraged to take up their fighting spirit for the interest of the nation.
The likes of Nigeria's Jordan Nwora and Italy's Nico Mannion are two big players to look out for in the game.
What are your predictions?
Do you think Nigeria can stun Italy to advance to the knockout stage?
