Neymar puts his side back to winning ways after inspiring them to 4-1 win in their FIFA WCQ

Former Barcelona star and Paris Saint Germain forward, Neymar Junior was in action in the early hours of today for Brazil in their 11th game of the FIFA World Cup qualifiers against Uruguay at the Arena da Amazonia.

The prolific winger retained his spot in his team's starting XI following his outstanding performance for the team in their previous game and he was able to impress.

Neymar was superb in the game as he played significant roles in his team's massive win as he scored a goal and set up an assist in the 4-1 win which placed them at the top of the table, and also put them back to winning ways after their last disappointing result.

Neymar opened the scoring sheet in the 10th minute to make it one nil before Raphinha doubled the lead for the host in the 18th minute to make it two goals to nil going into the half time break.

The host in the second half were more decisive with their approach and as such extended their lead in the 59th minute with a goal from Raphinha who got his brace in the game to make it three goals to nil.

Luis Suarez in the 77th minute scored a consolation goal for the visitor to make it three goals to one, before Gabriel Barbosa wrapped up the win for the host in the 83rd minute to make it four goals to one after receiving an assist from the goal opener, Neymar Jr.

Brazil with the win now currently sit at the top of the table with 31 points in 11 games played and as such be looking forward to continuing the winning streaks in their next fixture, so as to keep their pursuit going in the campaign.
