Alex Ferguson's Tactical 4-4-2 Lineup Ole Gunnar Solskjaer Could Switch to Save His Job.

Former Manchester United coach, Sir Alex Ferguson, is one of the best managers in the world. The Scottish man was responsible for Manchester United's dominance in Europe and England during his reign at Old Trafford.

The Red Devils grew into one of the best teams in Europe as well as in England due to his unquenchable search for quality players and talented individuals. The winning trophy was not the main thing Ferguson worked on, but it started coming after he built Manchester United from scratch.

Since his retirement, things have not been the same way in Manchester United. The team has sacked a total of three managers since 2013. The latest to get sacked was Portuguese tactician Jose Mourinho who handed over to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2018.

Since he took over in the summer of 2018, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is yet to deliver silverware to Manchester United despite the huge money signings he has done since then. This season, Manchester United has been going through a very tough time, the Red Devils are currently sitting at the sixth position in the Premier League instead of contesting for the title.

Pressure is beginning to grow more on the job of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, so here is Alex Ferguson's lineup Solskjaer could switch to save his job.

Ferguson likes the 4-4-2 formation. He deploys two central strikers, two central midfielders, and two wingers who will join the strikers while in possession and also join the midfield to make them four when out of possession.
