The matchday eight of the Spanish La Liga this season has finally concluded after all 10 matches went down in the competition this week. Several teams in the competition put up amazing performances as they fought hard to win their various matchday 8 matches.
Barcelona were a victim of another disappointing defeat in the Spanish La Liga this week when they travelled to face Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano Stadium. The Rojiblancos performed brilliantly in the match as they condemned Barcelona to a 2-0 defeat thanks to goals from Thomas Lemar and Luis Suarez.
Real Madrid were also defeated in the Spanish La Liga this week which made it their first loss in the competition this season. The Los Blancos lost 2-1 to Espanyol at the RCDE Stadium yesterday. Raul de Tomas and Alexi Vidal both scored to give Espanyol all three points at full-time.
Sevilla also fumbled in the La Liga title race this week when they travelled to face Granada at the Nuevo Estadio de Los Cármenes. The home side performed brilliantly in the match as they narrowly defeated Sevilla 1-0 thanks to a lone goal from Rochina.
