Lille defeated Angers FC 2-1 to win this season's French Ligue 1 title

LOSC Lille football club of France have won this season's French Ligue 1 title after defeating Angers FC 2-1, in the last game of the French League, to win this season's League title.

Christophe Galtier led team have been exceptional in the league this season, and they were able to end Paris Saint Germain's dominance by defeating their opponent 2-1.

Coach Christophe Galtier started his best eleven against their opponent, and they were able to secure the maximum three points away from home.

The visitors took the lead through Jonathan Davis in the 10th minutes, through an assist from Renato Sanchez, before Burak Yilmaz doubled the lead in the 45th minutes, to end the first half 2-0.

The host scored the consolation goal through Angelo Fulgini in the 90th minutes, to end the match 2-1.

With Lille's victory over Angers it means they've won this season's French Ligue 1 title.
