Fans have reacted as Chelsea might lose their third place in UEFA rankings if Liverpool beat Real Madrid tonight. The Merseyside Red will be aiming for a comeback after losing the first leg by 5-2 against the Spanish giant.
Chelsea on the other hand has been amazing in the UEFA champions league over the last few years which made them be among the top teams in the UEFA rankings. The blues are currently through to the quarter-finals of the competition this season after beating Dortmund in the round of 16.
Liverpool on the other hand has a tough job to do today against the Los Blancos. They need to win the game by a higher margin to advance to the quarter-finals and go ahead Chelsea in the UEFA rankings.
Liverpool has not been bad in the competition over the last few years as they have challenged at every point to clinch the trophy and they eventually did when they beat Tottenham in the final a few years ago.
However, fans have expressed diverse reactions over the report that Chelsea who are third in the UEFA rankings could lose their position to Liverpool if the Merseyside Red defeated Real Madrid today.
