CHE vs MNC: Why Tomorrow's Big Game with Man City could Be The Start Of Thomas Tuchel's Down Fall

Chelsea will be heading into the Premier League on Saturday afternoon with hope to continue their Phenomenal form to the start of the 2021-22 Campaign. After an Impressive mid-week performance against Aston Villa in the Carabao Cup. The Blues have now progressed to the fourth round of the competition.

The West Londoners are currently at the First spot in the Premier League table, sharing points with the likes of Manchester United and Liverpool. These clubs including Chelsea are on 13 points each, and Chelsea's weekend fixture against Manchester City could possibly see them drop points this weekend, though it is highly unlikely following Manchester City's Injury updates. Pep Guardiola is now left with few options but very strong squad that could still be able to defeat Chelsea. More recently, a heavily rotated Manchester City side thrashed Wycombe 6-1 in the Carabao Cup in midweek after coming from behind against the League One side. This is actually a sign that Pep Guardiola is not going to take tomorrow's match with Chelsea lightly as could be a bit personal, after being humiliated in three consecutive meetings with Chelsea last season.

Manchester City lost in the Stamford Bridge ground and also at Etihad Stadium last season, the most painful defeat City suffered was the 1-0 Loss in the Champions League Final. So when I say Guardiola and his men could be taking the Chelsea Game personal, I wasn't joking about that, because Both coaches literally have an unfinished business to settle.

Chelsea has played against almost all the big teams this season in EPL this season and they are yet to lose. Thomas Tuchel's Chelsea are still unbeaten, the chances of them loosing against City are slim, but there is also probability that Tuchel's down fall in the Premier League might start if they mistakenly lose against City. Why because Tuchel's weak point/tactics would be greatly exposed, which might give other teams the Chance to take advantage of that weak link. This was the exact thing that happened to Lampard when Chelsea were in form last season. Immediately Chelsea lost their first game of the season, they continued to lose which almost saw them drop down to the eighth position in the League table.
