After Man City failed in their attempt to get the signature of Harry Kane, they've reportedly turned their attention to the Portuguese superstar.

According to various media reports, Ronaldo could be a Man City player in the next few days.

With Ronaldo's possible introduction to the team, Pep Guardiola will have a lot of options in his attack.

In this article, we'll be looking at two ways the 'Cityzens' attacking setup could look like with Ronaldo. Check it out below:

Option A

The first option available for the Manchester side is to play Cristiano Ronaldo alongside Raheem Sterling and Riyadh Mahrez.

In this setup, Ronaldo will play as the club's 'Number 9' while Riyadh Mahrez and Sterling occupy the wings.

On paper, this looks like an option Ronaldo will enjoy as he'll not be saddled with the responsibility of creating chances. His main job will be to position himself rightly in the box whilst the balls come.

Option B

Another option Pep Guardiola could explore is to play Cristiano Ronaldo as a left-winger. In this case, Gabriel Jesus and Phil Foden could play as a center-forward and a right-wing-forward respectively.
