This Is Why This Liverpool Star Could Win The Best Player This Season.

Salah signed for Liverpool on the 22nd of June 2017 for a record fee of €42 million and since then he has gone forward to win two golden boots, three times player of the month and he is a one time player of the season.

Mohamed Salah has been instrumental to Liverpool's Premier League trophy. Some would say he is a very selfish player but selfish players make the best players. His first season in Liverpool he broke the English Premier League highest goalscoring record by scoring 32 goals.

I can continue to talk about all the feats he has accomplished but without so much ado let me take you through his performances this season, stay with me as we go through this journey together.

Salah have managed 19 goals and 9 assists, only Kevin De Bruyne has more assist than the Liverpool star, many have complained of how selfish he is with the ball, but what people seem to forget is that selfishness comes with the game and his teammates understand why he tends to be selfish most of the time.

Liverpool has 3 more games before the Premier League comes to an end. Can Salah come top of the highest goal scorers chart?

I bet he can, Liverpool has 3 games remaining before the award is given, games against Arsenal, Chelsea, and Newcastle. I know with the kind of player that he is, he would manage more than 5 goals for these games, and even though he doesn't meet up as the highest goal scorer, Ngolo Kante won the award despite not having too many goals, his performance spoke for him.

Salah has the most winning goals (7) more than any player in the League, and this also shows us why the team and the coach depend on him for his expertise, he has also created more than 54 chances in his appearances in the Premier League.

Mohamed Salah likes to dribble, likes to cut inside the box to take shots, likes to make short and precise passes, and he also loves counter-attacks. These are the strengths that make him a terror to different teams. He also has some weaknesses just like any other player and they include: he doesn't win aerial duels all the time, he holds onto the ball more often, and he doesn't contribute much to the defense.

I believe he is now on the path to win this award the second time.

Who do you think aside from Salah would win this award? Kindly drop your answers in the comment box.
