UEFA CHAMPIONS LEAGUE: Final Results, Updated Standings, Top Scorers, Assists

Matchday 4 (Day 1) started in a cool way as Hakim Ziyech netted for Chelsea as they edged to a 1-0 Champions League victory over Malmo and the Moroccan achieved a very special feat by doing so.

With his tap-in in the second half — a goal that proved crucial – Ziyech joined former Arsenal star Marouane Chamakh as the joint-highest scoring player from his country in Champions League history. Chelsea now have nine points from four games.

In group G Wolfsburg beat leaders Salzburg to rekindle their hopes of a top two finish and a spot in the knockout stage.

Bayern Munich maintained their impressive start to this season's UEFA Champions League, with a win over Portuguese outfit, Benfica 5-2, thanks to goals from Robert Lewandowski (Hat-trick) Serge Gnabry and Leroy Sane.

Goals from Paulo Dybala (Brace), Federico Chiesa and Alvaro Morata ensured Juventus recorded their fourth win in the Champions League against Zenit St Petersburg.

Manchester United came from behind twice to draw against Atalanta courtesy a brace from Cristiano Ronaldo

Barcelona got their second win in Group E as they eased to a 0-1 away win over Dynamo Kyiv
