Man United star Jesse Lingard, who is on loan at West Ham United has sustained an injury following their 3-2 defeat to Newcastle United. The extent of the injury is not yet known and fans have started voicing their fustrations given the England international is having pretty much the best year of his career. The midfield man has scored nine times for West Ham in only ten premier league games since he made.
News of his injury would come as bad news for United manager Ole Gunnar Solksjaer, who is a very keen admirer Jesse Lingard and has stated his desire for the English international to return to the theatre of dreams after his successful loan spell at the London stadium at the end of the season.
It is reported that United are indeed interested in having Lingard with them come next season. Apart from his newfound form, Lingard remains a very key part of the dressing room setup at any club he represents.
