In-form Super Eagles of Nigeria striker Paul Ebere Onuachu continues his impressive goal scoring form for KRC Genk on Wednesday night, as he netted two goals in their 4-2 away defeat to Antwerp FC in the week 8 of the Belgium Pro League.
The former FC Midtjylland of Denmark Striker was given another starting role by coach John van den Brom, following his outstanding performance for the club in their previous matches, where he was able to score for the team, and he was able to impress again despite the fact that they suffered a defeat away from home.
The Nigerian international started in the away team's attack alongside Junya Ito and Theo Bongonda and the trio were superb in the game.
Paul Onuachu opened scoring for the away team in the 13th minutes through an assist from Junya Ito. Ritchie De Laet equalized for the home team in the 27th minutes, and Birger Verstraete made it 2-1 in the 37th minutes, before Koji Miyoshi made it 3-1 in the 41st minutes to end the first half 3-1.
Switzerland star Michael Frey scored in the 69th minutes through an assist from Mbwana Sammata made it 4-1 before Paul Onuachu scored his second goal of the game in the 79th minutes to end the match 4-2.
The Nigerian international was exceptional for the away team throughout the whole duration of the game, and he was able to mark his excellent performance with a brace.
Paul Onuachu's brace against Antwerp FC means he has scored in his last three matches for the club.
The 4-2 defeat to Antwerp FC has now taken KRC Genk football club to the 5th spot of the Belgium Pro League table with 14 points from 8 matches played.
