Right from the under 17 level, Victor Osimhen has shown his dedication and loyalty to the Super Eagles team. He already wears jersey number 9, but he may surrender it to Odion Ighalo, who just returned to the national team. Odion Ighalo was wearing jersey number 9 before his retirement in 2019. Osimhen may respect him and hand his jersey number 9 to him. Victor Osimhen may be given the jersey number 10.
2. Wilfred Ndidi; Leicester City's Wilfred Ndidi is another player who could take the position of John Obi Mikel and put on the jersey number 10 for the Super Eagles. He is another player who has been exceptional for the Super Eagles since he made his National team's debut.
3. Another player who may be given the jersey number 10 is Chidera Ejuke; the young player has shown that he will be an outstanding player who can be the future of Nigerian football. He is young and talented. His display against Liberia and Cape Verde last month has shown that he is a player who can take the place of Jay Jay Okocha as the wearer of the jersey number 10. Givin him this jersey number will be a motivation for him to work harder.
