Manchester United opened the scoring in the 36th minute of the match, through Tahith Chong before Facundo Pellistri made it 2-0 in the 58th minute of the match. Derby County put one back in the 71st minute, but were unable to utilize chances to level the match.
2 youngsters showed Ole Gunnar Solskjaer they have a bright future in the match at Pride Park. They are;
1. Shola Shoretire: The youngster had a scintillating second half, after providing an assist with Manchester United's second goal of the friendly match. Shola Shoretire was brilliant and made important runs into the defence of Derby County. The wonder kid is a star to watch out for in the coming days at Old Trafford.
2. Facundo Pellestri: Pellestri also had a wonderful performance in the second half, as he scored Manchester United's second goal of the match. The youngster was a threat to the Derby County defence any time he came forward. Pellestri is also a star to watch out in the coming days at the Theatre of dreams.
