EPL: The Player that would captain Chelsea tomorrow as Azpilicueta, James, Mount & Silva are all out

Chelsea FC will be welcoming Leeds United to Stamford Bridge tomorrow for the second leg of the Premier League match this season. Recall that Chelsea was embarrassed in the first leg as they suffered a 3-0 defeat at Leeds home.

Meanwhile, a player is needed to captain the blues tomorrow as Cesar Azpilicueta, Reece James, Mason Mount, and Thiago Silva are all out of the match according to Graham Potter during the pre-match press conference today.

Ngolo Kante is also ruled out of the match as he is yet to reach full fitness. Potter has no choice but to select his starting XI from the available players. The gaffer will be aiming to win the game so that Chelsea fans can begin to trust in his system again. Tomorrow Leeds United's match and that of Dortmund are very important for Potter in other to keep his job.

Denis Zakaria, Conor Gallagher, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Kovacic and Enzo Fernandez will all be competing for the starting spot tomorrow in the midfield and Mount's absence will make Potter utilize Joao Felix very well tomorrow.

However, Ben Chilwell is expected to captain Chelsea tomorrow as he is the only longest-serving player among the squad available for the Leeds clash. Nonetheless, Graham Potter can still choose any player to captain his team at the Bridge tomorrow.

The person that would be selected will be someone who has principal character and can create a bond with his teammates which is why Chilwell has been shortlisted. Kepa Arrizabalaga is also another option.
