The two sides maintained the game intensity still in the second half with a number of changes from the two gaffers.
Villarreal CF gaffer minor changes turned out to be the best after Nigerian international who came on for Yeremy Pinot at the 60th minute doubled his side lead at the 67th minute to bring the scoreline to (2-0) at full time.
