One will think that Arsenal star Willian Da Silva left left Chelsea last season with grievances. One will also think that the Brazilian star is at fault for leaving the Blue but all these are not true as the winger claimed that there is no friction between them.
Willian took a hard decision to join Chelsea's greatest rival Arsenal on free transfer ground. The winger was alleged to have demanded for three-year contract in which Chelsea were not ready to key in to.
The contract will was supposed to uplift Willian's wage from £130,000 to £ 200,000. Chelsea couldn't agree with Willian because of age barrier. He was 30-year-old before he left the club.

Arsenal came knocking and Willian had to make decision. Chelsea have given their stance but Willian left the door open for both parties. The versatile winger wanted to stay at Chelsea but Arsenal is just his fate.
Speaking today, Willian said that he wanted to stay at Chelsea.
Look, I think some fans asked this question. But the majority understood because I didn’t leave the club with a fight, I left the doors open. Everyone knew the conditions, I really wanted to stay. We ended up not finding an agreement, I ended up asking for three years, Chelsea wanted to give two, and everyone knows this story. That’s why I ended up leaving.”
The deal hasn't prolific for Arsenal and Willian. Arsenal have been keeping faith in Willian but the skillful player has failed to impress. Willian is earning £190,000 per week at Arsenal.
