Eden Hazard

The Belgian will always be regarded as one of the best Chelsea players of all time. He had an amazing 7-year spell with the club and achieved so much.

Unfortunately, he didn't win any Champions League trophy, and that pushed him to join the Spanish side; Real Madrid in 2019.

Hazard was handed the number 7 shirt to play as a replacement of Cristiano Ronaldo for the Whites. But things quickly took the wrong turn. A couple of injuries turned the 30- year old to a bench warmer. He has played a couple of games with the club but has made no relevant impact.

Hazard has been struggling to get in form since he left the blues.

Here are 3 other Players that struggled after leaving Chelsea.

1. Joe Cole

Joe Cole was one of the most talented Midfielders back then, even at the age of 16, so many clubs were interested in signing him.

He joined the Blues in 2003, playing the wing and attacking Midfield position, he was just amazing on the pitch.

Cole was one of Chelsea's biggest assets then. With the blues, he won so many trophies. In 2010, he decided to try sometime new, he joined Liverpool, but things didn't go as expected.

Struggling to get playing time, Cole was sent on loan to play for Lille. He eventually join West Ham, and then Aston Villa.

But he couldn't be the man he was back with the Blues.

2. Willian

Known to be one is the finest Brazilian players, Willan spent over 7 years with Blues and played a crucial role in their 2 EPL title wins. He was good playing at the attack position, and still offered so much at defense.

In 2020, he decided to leave the club and join Arsenal, even after Chelsea offered him a 1-year extension to his contract.

Well, Arsenal was not the place for him, after making just 25 appearances for the Gunners with no serious impact, he left in 2021 to join his first club; Corinthians.

3. Damien Duff

Number 3 on this list is the former Irish star; Damien Duff. He joined the Blues in 2003.

Playing the wing position under Jose Mourinho, he established himself as one of the best attackers back then.

Duff decided to join Newcastle United after an amazing 3 years spell at Stamford Bridge and later joined Fulham.

Duff enjoyed enough playing time, but he was not as good as he was with the blues. He even admitted that leaving Chelsea changed a lot in his career.
