Dele Ali Born and raised in Milton Keynes, joined the academy at Milton Keynes Dons at the age of 11and became a first team player five years later. Dele Ali made 88 official appearances for the team in 2 and half seasons, seeing the back of the net 24 times. He however, signed for premier league side Tottenham Hotspur for a fee of about £7m in February 2015. Ali was loaned back to the Dons for the remainder of the season. In each of his first two campaigns at White Hart Lane , Alli was voted the England PFA Young Player of the Year and made the England PFA Team of the Year.
Dele Alli has said that he would rather retire at young age than play for the club's arch rivals Arsenal.
Dele, 23, has estabulished himself to be fans favourite at White Hart Lane following his transfer from MK Dons. The midfielder has lived upto expectations, banging goals and asisst for his club since arrival and he has opened up to fans where his North London fate lies.
The English player when asked by Copa90 if he'd one day dream of playing for Arsenal , Alli replied: "I'm hanging my instead."
After the pandemic lockdown break, Ali's loss in form got the media talking.
"I feel heavy like am getting older everyday" Ali said.
