The England International protracted move to Roma has been completed. A fee of 34 million pounds was agreed between Chelsea and AS Roma a week ago but Arsenal's interest in the former Aston Villa loanee delayed the deal.
Abraham earlier prefer to stay in England but Arsenal's bid of cash plus player was rejected. It was Roma coach, Jose Mourinho who called the English talent and convince him to join the Italian side.
Tammy Abraham was pictured in Rome on Monday after arriving from England. He has undergone his medicals and sign a five year contract with AS Roma till 2026.
Abraham said it is a honour to wear Roma number 9 jersey, "It’s a massive honour to be the No. 9 at this club and I just can’t wait to get started and to help the team."
Abraham will lead Roma's attack for the new season after playing a bit part role for Chelsea last term.
