How Chelsea Can Get The Best Out Of Callum Hudson-Odoi

20 year old Callum Hudson-Odoi was a first half replacement for injured Timo Werner in the UEFA Champions league encounter against Swedish side, Malmo at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday night.

His introduction into the game however revealed that he's a player that has consistently been played out of position by coach Thomas Tuchel.

Hitherto, Callum Hudson-Odoi has been used as a wing back in Chelsea's games he featured in. But, against Malmo, he was drafted to the left wing position where he made instant impact.

It was not surprising that Thomas Tuchel admitted after the match that he had not been playing the youngster in his rightful position.

The chemistry he formed with Kai Havertz in the attack made fans to wonder why he hasn't been used as a left winger all along in his previous appearance for Chelsea.

It was not surprising when, in the 48th minute of the game against Malmo, he provided the assist for Kai Havertz to slot home the third goal.

A dual citizen of England and Ghana, Callum Hudson-Odoi has featured for England U-16, U-17, U-18, U-19 , U-21 and England national team in the course of his youthful career.

It is hoped Thomas Tuchel will do the right thing in order to get the best out of the talented youngster.
