Nigerian striker who wants to snub Super Eagles and play for Albania

Nigerian striker Patrick Friday Eze is ready to snub the Super Eagles of Nigeria and play for the Albanian national team. Eze has not - been invited - to any of the Nigerian national teams. 

"I never had the opportunity to play any category - I never played in any category for Nigeria. Of course, if Albania calls me, I will come and happily play".

The Nigerian striker joined FK Kukesi from Al-Ramtha in 2020. Since joining the club, he has scored twelve goals in twenty-five appearances. 

Where was he born 

Patrick Friday Eze was born in Kaduna State on 22 December 1992. 

Football career 

The 28-year-old striker started his career with Ajiya Babes before joining Zamfara United at the youth level. After impressing with Zamafara United, he joined Africa Sports in 2011. 

Following two impressive seasons in Ivory Coast, Eze joined Serbian Superliga side Rad in 2013. He had a difficult time at Rad Eze joined Napredak Krusevac but also struggled with them. 

In 2014, he moved to Mladost Lucani, a team that just gained promotion to the topflight league. He finished the season as the highest goal scorer with fifteen goals. 

The Nigerian striker signed for Al-Fujairah in 2015. He emerged as the top scorer of the team with fourteen goals. He later joined Al-Qadisiyah, Konyaspor, Denizlispor, Rakow Czestochowa, Al-Ramtha SC, and FK Kukesi. 

Individual and Team award

Patrick Eze won the Ivorian league with Africa Sports in 2011. He also won the Serbian Superliga top scorer in the 2014/2015 season. He - was included in the Serbian SuperLiga Team of the Season.
