Click the link Below to watch Alex Ferguson reaction after Ronaldo's winning goal against Villarreal.
Alex Telles' sensational strike cancelled out Paco Alcacer's opening on an otherwise disappointing evening for the Red Devils.
United were not at their best, but Ronaldo came through with a 94th-minute winner just when Ole Gunnar Solskjaer needed him.
In the 53rd minute, Villarreal took a deserved lead at Old Trafford. Unsurprisingly, United's right-hand side provided the visitors with joy, with Danjuma crossing for Alcacer to turn in from close range.
As United attempted to draw level, Fernandes fired a 20-yard shot across the face of goal, which they did in the 60th minute.
Fernandes flicked a free-kick from the right side of the box to the outside of the box, where Telles met it with a spectacular volley.
When it appeared that a 1-1 draw was on the cards, Ronaldo came up with a 95th-minute winner.
