As winter transfer window reopened earlier this month, Arsenal have been able to secure the service of Martin Øodegard on a short-term deal.
Arsenal FC have made a late January move for 30-year old Dutch defender who is mainly deploy as a left-back defender at Crystal Palace, according to reports.
He has been a vital player in Crystal Palace, having played 11 EPL matches this season, of which he is yet to register a goal, but he has created single assist.
He joined Crystal Palace in 2017 after a transfer fee worth €10.50 was paid to Sunderland. However, he has less than 6 month left on his contract deal at Crystal Palace, and he is yet to put fresh signature into paper.
If Arsenal could sign the Dutch defender, he would be a potential replacement for Kieran Tierney who is currently injured.
Arsenal fans, do you think Patrick van Aanholt is needed in Mikel Arteta's team?
