MATCHDAY 26: No Away Club Won In Any Of The Ten Games Played In The Premier League

No doubt, matchday 26 is a special week in the Premier League this season, which saw Arsenal FC make a 2-0 goal comeback to win by 3-2 goals against AFC Bournemouth while Manchester United was greatly humiliated by Liverpool FC, as the Jurgen Klopp's side win by 7-0 goals at Anfield on Sunday evening.

As usual, ten (10) were played across ten (10) venues with Manchester City and Newcastle United kickstarting matchday 26 games. Pep Guardiola's side won by 2-0 goals to close the gap in the Premier League table to two (2) but Arsenal FC made a 2-0 goal comeback to win by 3-2 goals against AFC Bournemouth. The game saw Billing score the second-fastest goal in the history of the Premier League.

Thirty-one goals were scored by all the clubs with the home sides scoring twenty-six goals and the away sides scoring only six (6) goals. Seven (7) clean sheets were kept while West Ham United and Manchester United are the biggest losers, having lost by 4-0 to Brighton and Hove Albion and 7-0 goals to Liverpool FC respectively.

Fortunately, Chelsea FC was one of the clubs that pulled surprises having struggled in 2023 in winning games, defeating Leeds United by a 1-0 goal, its second win this year 2023 in all competitions. But the most surprising was the game between Liverpool and Manchester United at Anfield as Jurgen Klopp's side won by 7-0 goals.
