From all indications, Victor Osimhen is well on his way to winning the CAF Player Of The Year award.

The Nigerian sensation has established himself as one of the top 3 strikers in Europe this season, with his goal contributions playing a major role in landing Napoli their first Serie A title in 33 years.

Osimhen has also scored more than 30 goals in all tournaments this term, but those goals might count for nothing if Riyad Mahrez helps Manchester City to win The Treble.
The Algerian isn't starting every game for the Citizens, but whenever he's called upon, he always delivers.

Recall his performance against Sheffield United in the FA Cup semifinal where he bagged a hat-trick to send City to the final. And just yesterday, he gave two assists to help his side consolidate their lead at the top of the Premier League table.
City are well positioned to win all the three competitions they're still participating in, and if they eventually win all, Mahrez could win the CAF 'POTY' award over Osimhen.
