REPORTS: Chelsea star willing to listen to transfer offers in January ahead of transfer move away

Without any doubts, Chelsea football club were one of the few busy Premier League clubs during the summer transfer window before it was shut in September.

The West London club are keen on achieving more success under the management of Thomas Tuchel and have splashed the cash to sign Romelu Lukaku from Inter Milan to bolster their current squad.

However, that has turned out well for Chelsea so far as they are currently on top of the Premier League table after racking up 16 points from their first seven league matches.

But then, the Blues could now be rocked with reports that experienced central defender Antonio Rudiger is interested in a move away from the club when the transfer window opens.

The 28-year-old Germany International, who joined Chelsea from Serie A side AS Roma has been a vital member of the Chelsea first-team over the previous seasons.

The experienced centre-back was a rock in Chelsea defence last season, where he made 34 appearances in all competitions scoring one goal and registering one assist as Chelsea marched on to win the UEFA Champions League.

Antonio Rudiger has also started the 2021/2022 season on a strong note and has scored one goal in 10 appearances in all competitions so far this season.

However, the experienced centre-back has less than a year left on his current contract at Chelsea and due to his refusal to commit his future to the club, he could be considering a move away next year.

And according to reports from The Sun, Antonio Rudiger is ready to listen to transfer offers when the transfer window opens in January as he aims to move on from Chelsea.

The experienced defender is not short of suitors as he nears the end of his contract at Chelsea and he is now willing to listen to offers before choosing his next destination.
