Osimhen has been linked with a move away from Lille after he had quite an outstanding first season in the French topflight.The Nigerian joined the French side last summer from Belgium club,RSC Charleroi for a transfer fee in the region of €14m.He still has four years left in his contract with Lille.Before the French Ligue 1 season was halted and eventually ended prematurely,the Lille number 7 scored 13 goals and added a further 5 assists in 27 league appearances.
Initially,Tottenham Hotspur were favorites to sign him but due to the presence of striker and club captain,Harry Kane he opted for somewhere else where he can be guaranteed first team football.And according to the report,the 21-year old striker passed his medicals that was conducted in Rome on Saturday with the club set to pay about €81m for his services.
