According to Sportwitness, Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga has expressed his desire to work with Maurizio Sarri again at Lazio on many occasions.

During Sarri's stint as Chelsea manager, the Spaniard signed Arrizabalaga for a world record amount, but the Spaniard has fallen behind Edouard Mendy in the pecking order.

Sarri is interested in signing Arrizabalaga after Thomas Strakosha and Pepe Reina failed to convince him at Lazio.

According to the source, Lazio cannot afford Kepa's €7 million annual salary, and the goalie will be forced to take a pay reduction in order to join the club.

After losing his starting XI spot to Mendy, Kepa is said to be looking for a "change of air."
