Age they say tells on someone for no matter how rich, influential you may be, at some point in your life, it will tell on your body that you aren't the same way you used to be.
We've seen many footballers, celebrities come out and after sometimes, age begins to tell on them as it they begin to decline in what they were best in although very much experienced.
A recent picture of Nigerian super state and one of the most decorated players of all times John Mike Obi was shared by @instablog asking fans to recognise him.
He looked not just young but naive too like someone going through a lot.
Obviously, he was yet to hit the limelight as at then and was still in his place of birth Jos in Plateau state.
Many got his name correctly as it looked like his face didn't change much.
John Obi Mikel is a Nigerian professional footballer although (retired now in the National team) who was born in Jos Plateau state on 22nd April 1987. He plays as a defensive midfielder. Mikel began his career with local club Plateau United, before joining Norwegian club Lyn at the age of 17 in 2004.
He is currently out of contract after cancelling his contract with Turkish Super Lig club Trabzonspor after he refused to play due to the coronavirus pandemic.
He's married to Olga Diyachenko.
Did Mikel change at all or is he the same way he has always been?
