The "Derby della Capitale" is one of the most anticipated fixture in the Italian Serie A because of the excitement and drama the match offers. Yesterday's clash of the Rome clubs did not disappoint at all and there was even more spice to it with the names of Maurizio Sarri and José Mourinho on the touchline.

The derby had never had Chelsea written all over it like it was yesterday. The two managers were formerly of Chelsea and both had ex Chelsea players in their teams: Pedro Rodriguez and Tammy Abraham.Photo credit: Getty Images
The game ended with a massive victory for Sarri, a much needed win after four matches without one in September.
Roma on the other hand shipped in another three goals after their 3-2 loss to Verona 2 weeks ago. This shows that Mourinho and his team have a lot of work to do.
There was no surprise that after the final whistle, while Sarri was celebrating the win with the an eagle in front of the Lazio fans, Mourinho was having a talking-to with his players on the pitch.

That showed that Mourinho wasn't happy to lose that derby and here are two reasons why that might be so.
1. Blow To Their Title Challenge
We all know Mourinho to be a serial winner and his mission at AS Roma is a very clear one, get them competing for the title and in the Champions League again.
They started the season really well and now they seem to be falling off track after 2 defeats in 3 games. Although, they aren't that far back as they currently sit on 4th position on the Seriea A table, 6 points away from the table toppers, Napoli.
2. First Loss To Maurizio Sarri
Mourinho has only ever faced Sarri once before yesterday's derby and that game ended in a draw. In fact, there was drama in that particular match as one of Sarri's staff celebrated Chelsea's late equaliser disrespectfully in front of Jose Mourinho.
Sarri had to calm Mourinho down as the Portuguese wasn't happy with what his staff had done. With that in mind, Mourinho would've loved to take all three points today but that didn't happen.
Roma will certainly learn their lessons and move on from this. And from what we've seen so far this season, they will certainly do better than Lazio come the end of the season.
