If We Play Chelsea Ten Times, We Will Beat Them Nine Times- Brentford Manager Says After 1-0 Defeat

Brentford manager, Thomas Frank has shared his statement after his side's 'hard to take' defeat against Chelsea yesterday which was their second loses of the season.

The gaffer believed that they were the better team in the west London derby yesterday because they saw many chances more than Chelsea which they could have finished off but due to Edouard Mendy's masterclass, they failed to achieve their aim.

Chelsea scored the only goal of the match through Ben Chilwell's lovely strike in the first half which is what made the difference yesterday.

Chelsea has overtaken both Liverpool and Manchester City to retained their place as 1st on the league table with that decisive victory yesterday.

However, as gathered from Brentford News, the manager in his press conference, on the defeat, said he “We performed very well. We win this game nine times out of ten; it’s down to fine margins, a good ‘keeper, and a bit of quality on the day.”

The 48-year-old manager explained that they dominated the game in the end and should have scored because they saw six chances with 17 shots, unlike Chelsea that had just five shots. But unfortunately, it wasn't their day.

Nevertheless, Brentford will be aiming to get back on track when they play Leicester City in their next game.
