Andre Schuerrle finally retire from football

Andre Schuerrle the former Germany international who played a major in the 2014 World Cup as posted his desire om Instagram to retire from football.

He wrote "I want you to know that I am stepping away form playing professional football and on behalf of myself and my family I want to thank everybody who was part since all this years.The support and love shared with me was unbelievable and more I could ever asked for.

"Now I'm ready and open for all the beautiful possibilities that are coming towards me, André."

He began his career at Germany side Mainz 05 before joining Bayern Leverkusen in 2011 but his breakthrough season season came during the 2012-2013 season where he became one of the hottest prospects in Germany after scoring 14 goals in 43 games.

Chelsea sign him as a result of his fine form for a fee of £18 million and played a total of 44 games for the blues and won a Premier League medal at Stamford Bridge.

He later go on to play for Wolfsburg,Borussia Dortmund,Fulham and Spartak Moscow before deciding to retire from football.
