Arsenal cemented their spot in the Uefa Europa League round of 16 stages after they came from behind to beat Benfica 3-2 at the Karaiskaki Stadium on Thursday.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang got the Gunners up & running as he scored with a lovely chip shot in the 21st minute to give his side an early 1-0 lead. Bukayo Saka provided the assist.
Diego Goncalves scored at the nick of time by finding the back of net from a free kick in the 43rd minute to get the 1-1 equaliser for Benfica at half time.
Rafa Silva gave Benfica the lead after he tapped the ball into an empty net to make it 2-1 in the 61st minute.
Kieran Tierney scored the equaliser for Arsenal six minutes later as he sent a belter to the bottom corner of the net to make it level at 2-2 in the 67th minute.
Pierre Emerick Aubameyang secured the match win for Arsenal as he scored in the 87th minute to bring the scoreline to 3-2 at full time. Bukayo Saka provided the assist.
