The most unbelievable transfer occurred on the deadline day. The decision made by Laporta and Barcelona concerning the player is still not clear to me. It is true the club is in debt and funds are needed but what Barca did yesterday showed they lacked

Barcelona and Real Betis co-signed Emerson Royal from Atletico Minerio for €12.7m In 2019. The player however played for Real Betis for 2 and half season. In June this year, Barcelona paid €9m to Betis in other to have full ownership of the player. After signing him, Read what Laporta said.

28 days after his unveiling, The player is no longer a Barcelona player. Barca has sold him for €25m to Tottenham. Real Betis is entitled to €5m from the sale of the player. This decision by Laporta is still not clear to me. The player was the only natural right back in the team apart from Dest. Why buy him only to sell permanently 3 months after.
