The transfer window is now officially closed. Lots of exciting transfers were made on the transfer deadline day. One can easily say this summer is the one of the craziest transfer windows in history. Deals no one could even imagine were completed this summer. Although Lionel Messi's move to PSG and Ronaldo's move to Man United might be the biggest of them all, it is not the craziest transfer made this summer.
The most unbelievable transfer occurred on the deadline day. The decision made by Laporta and Barcelona concerning the player is still not clear to me. It is true the club is in debt and funds are needed but what Barca did yesterday showed they lacked
Barcelona and Real Betis co-signed Emerson Royal from Atletico Minerio for €12.7m In 2019. The player however played for Real Betis for 2 and half season. In June this year, Barcelona paid €9m to Betis in other to have full ownership of the player. After signing him, Read what Laporta said.
28 days after his unveiling, The player is no longer a Barcelona player. Barca has sold him for €25m to Tottenham. Real Betis is entitled to €5m from the sale of the player.
