Barcelona considering signing Manchester city Forward ahead of January transfer window

Barcelona have had a very inconsistent start to their 2021/2022 season. The Catalan giants are not in a good position on the La liga table and have been woeful in the Uefa Champions league. But the club coached by Ronald Koeman are already making preparations for the January transfer window.

Barcelona and Koeman are considering signing Manchester City and England Forward, Raheem Sterling. The 27 year old has not had the best start to the season with Man city with inconsistent performances and reports suggest that Manager, Pep Guardiola is open to letting the former Liverpool attacker leave.

Raheem Sterling has been linked with a move away from City in the past and with the defending EPL champions signing of Jack Grealish, competition for places have been high ensuring Sterling's limited amount of game time.

Koeman sees Sterling as the perfect solution to a failing attacking unit at Barcelona that has failed to score a goal in their last two matches losing all of them. It is left to been seen if the Barcelona Board will consider signing him during the January transfer window.
