ITA vs BEL: Match Prediction, Preview & Kickoff Time

Belgium's quest for an international trophy continues at the Juventus Stadium, where Roberto Martinez's side will meet Italy for a chance to win bronze in the UEFA Nations League third place.

In recent years, Belgium has been very consistent in terms of outcomes, with some of the best individual talent on show. They have only lost twice in their last sixteen games, and their semi-final loss to France does not reflect their true ability. Belgium's problem has been that they have stumbled in crucial games such as the World Cup semi-final, Euro 2020 quarter-final, and, most recently, the Nations League semi-final, despite consistently great performances in most matches.

Martinez is expected to bring in a few young players who did not play in the semi-finals. Belgium won Group A2 of the Nations League, finishing ahead of Denmark, Iceland, and England.

Spain's victory over Italy was the consequence of a remarkable effort by the Spaniards. Roberto Mancini's team were reduced to ten men and never recovered from their one-goal deficit. The defeat to Spain may have broken Italy's extraordinary thirty-seven-game unbeaten record, but it does not detract from their status as European champions. Mancini's side won Group A1 of the Nations League, which included teams such as the Netherlands, Poland, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Italy defeated Belgium in the Euro 2020 quarter-finals a few months ago, and there's no reason to think it won't happen again. They also have a strong head-to-head record against Belgium, having won fifteen of their twenty-three meetings.

Belgium's fabled Golden Generation has been keen to bring silverware to the country's fans. They've had a lot of stability in their outcomes over the years, but they've never managed to win the big games. Spain outplayed Italy in the semi-finals as well, but Italy's overall quality should not be an issue. This is going to be a close game, but I think Italy will win.

Kickoff Time: The game will go down tomorrow at 2PM Nigerian and UK time.
