Lewis Hamilton and Mark Verstappen Involved in High-Speed Collision at British Grand Prix on Sunday

Formula 1 race car drivers , Lewis Hamilton and Mark Vasteppen have been involved in a high speed collision at the British Grand Prix on Sunday

The incident occurred when Hamilton's front-left wheel collided with the right-back wheel of the red bull driver at the silver copse corner in a keenly contested race .

The Red Bulls driver's car then lost bearing on the track towards the side of the track and unto the railings. Luckily the Dutch driver came out unscathed

The race was temporarily suspended ;and Lewis Hamilton and his Mercedes team were given a warning with a 10-second time deduction for the incident .

Though Hamilton protested the decision to penalize him. Stating that his car was impeded from successfully making the bend .

However, he went on to win the race ahead of Verstappen.

The rivalry between the two drivers has been fierce since the start of the year . Verstappen has come as a strong contender for the formula 1 pole position . His exploits on the track has been a torn in the flesh of the Briton.
