Acquiring ownership of a club in the Premier League is not one of the easiest task, as it has to go through several processes before such deal could go through.
Over the years, Premier League clubs such as Chelsea and Manchester City has benefited from the takeovers of wealthy owners, and has in turn become one of the best clubs in Europe.
According to recent reports, Newcastle could be the next Premier League Club to be taken over by rich billionaire owners.
Talks about a potential £300 million takeover of Newcastle United, by Saudi Arabia Consortium started about eighteen months ago, but the deal didn't go through due to several issues which led the owner of Newcastle United to take the Premier League to court, so as to force the sale of the club.
Premier League clubs were accused of being responsible for the collapse of the deal, and the take over was further complicated with Saudi Arabia being accused of enabling piracy of premier league games, that was broadcasted by BeIN sports.
Saudi Arabia Public Investment Funds, led by crown prince Mohammed Bin Salman are now back on the verge of purchasing Newcastle United this season. It is believed that a resolution has been done to settle an alleged piracy dispute with Saudi Arabia's based sport broadcasters BeIN Sports.
If the takeover is successfully completed, Newcastle could become one of the richest clubs in the world, considering the amount of investment the new owners could pump into the club.

Newcastle United fans will be very excited about the news of the takeover by new rich owners. They suffered relegation from the Premier League on two different occasions, under the 14 years ownership of Mike Ashley, and the team has lacked proper reinforcement in the last few transfer window, as the owner was preparing to sell the club.
The take over from Mike Ashley to the potential new Saudi Arabian owners could make Newcastle United a top team in Europe, with big ambitions, and also provide more competition at the top of the Premier League table.
With the potential new takeover, do you see Newcastle United challenging for the Premier League tittle, or top four positions next season?
