REPORTS: Chelsea among the clubs interested in signing a new defensive midfielder from Everton

His impressive performances in defensive midfield is believed to have caught the attention of Chelsea football club and according to reports from The Sun, the Premier League side are interested in Amadou Onana.

The reports further claimed that the Blues are really interested in Amadou Onana and are now making moves to lure the young defensive midfielder away from Everton football club.

It is believed that Chelsea manager Graham Potter wants to add more rigidity to his midfield options and he has now identified Amadou Onana as a needed addition to his squad.

However, having spent just one season at Everton football club, it remains to be seen if Amadou Onana will choose to continue his developments at the club or he will be interested in a move to join Chelsea.
