Christian Eriksen returns to Inter Milan's training ground

Eriksen collapsed in the 43rd minute of Denmark's opening game in the EURO 2020 against Finland. He fell down to the ground while the ball was being thrown to him by his teammate. 

Swift actions from the Denmark captain, Simon Kjaer and English referee, Anthony Taylor was able to save the life of the 29-year-old attacking midfielder. 

According to reports, Eriksen is back at inter Milan's training ground and is set to resume training with the team. The Danish midfielder paid a visit to the Suning Training Centre in Appiano Gentile.

According to Inter Milan's official website, Eriksen will follow the recovery program put forward by the doctors in Copenhagen. 

The clubs medical team will also be kept informed as they would play a part in Eriksen's full recovery.
