Video Assistant Referee (VAR) denied arsenal a fair officiating in their match against Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium, the primary reason why Video Assistant Referee was introduced is to assist Referee's in making right decision in a match incase of an error.
Arsenal battled it out with Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux Stadium, the match ended in favour of Wolverhampton Wanderers by 2:1.
it was a disappointing night for the gunners as both David Luiz and Bernd Leno was sent off by the referee.
sending Bernd Leno off was a right decision made by the referee but that of David Luiz was wrong, according to the laws of the game, an accidental obviously goal scoring opportunity is punished with a penalty and caution card (yellow card) if is inside the 18 yard box but the referee sent off of David Luiz and VAR didn't not overturn such decision.
The decision was totally wrong, VAR fail to intervene and call the referee to order for such decision.
Arsenal Manager Mikel Arteta felt so bad because that mistake cost him the match, after the match, he reacted by showing disappointed he was with England FA and VAR.
England FA and VAR should apologize Arsenal Manager for taken such decision against his team.
